Your mission
- Follow and improve the QA standards defined by the company.
- Perform daily backend server testing to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Utilize and enhance existing QA server tools for functional verification.
- Conduct backend server testing through both manual and automated approaches using testing frameworks or programmatic methods.
- Verify and monitor the performance of backend services.
- Analyze test results and report findings as Jira issues in collaboration with the development team.
- Participate in agile teams organized under Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
Your profile
- Proven experience in quality assurance of Web Applications.
- Proven experience in backend server testing.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java or Python is a must.
- Hands-on experience with Linux commands and file permissions.
- Good understanding of API testing.
- Familiarity with console-based editors such as vi / vim.
- Knowledge of networking tools like Netstat, Telnet, and Wireshark for investigation and testing.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as HTTP/2, TLS/SSL and Proxy settings.
- Basic knowledge of database testing; exposure to Big Data or Machine Learning is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and data is an added advantage
